And what’s especially good in these troubled times (drink) is it’s price: $100. To me that speaks volumes for the quality of the components but its low enough to be in the impulse-buy realm so I’d certainly fork out for one!Love the show hate twitterAlex from the UK**********Hi Buzzers or buzzcrew or the slightly forgotten JatonaTomorrow it is the time for a new S to hit the “shelves” – Ubuntu 9. Is South Africa about to become more ‘African’?

The couple has adopted six children whose mothers died of AIDS. Ubuntu a central concept in southern African cultures which literally means “being a human being” can be seen in the many families who take in AIDS orphans. But the one complaint that seems to top them all here these days is that the country is becoming more “African. ” That particular gripe usually comes from well-to-do South Africans ? white and black ? who are worried about the trajectory of the country once populist leader Jacob Zuma takes power after he wins Wednesday’s presidential election which he is all but certain to do. For 3 years I kept puttin off linux because of the talk of it being very hard & a few google searches showed me how ignorant my mindset was. You don’t have to be a tech nerd to get the feel of linux (thats what Google is for) but have the will to learn something new all linux cost is your time & alittle education. In my honest views I think EMs who consider linux should distibute easy to use distros like Ubuntu & ubuntu variates as a gateway not to knock the other distros but strenghten exposure. Microsoft should keep light on Windows 7’s price because I feel this lashout on open source pricing is just to soften the blow for a hefty S pricetag they have in the pipeline. Reply to this comment.

Using a Samsung NC10 and because of Ubuntu 9. 04 have rewrite so much the Intel Video drivers to not make Compiz to work I had put a Fedora 10 install. Boot time with full GNME + Mono Desktop (mono startup adds to start time).
