Celtics make it 14 straight beat Hornets 94-82
The Associated Press
The Celtics held a brief ceremony before the game to award Hornets forward James Posey with the championship ring he won with Boston last season. Posey got a big cheer from the crowd hugs from his former teammates and a tribute from Celtics coach Doc Rivers who dropped his pregame game face to call Posey a “special player special person. “Citing the team’s motto of “ubuntu” a phrase favored by Archbishop Desmond Tutu that translates roughly to “I am because we are” Rivers said “We couldn’t be all we could be unless James Posey was all he could be. “Posey had seven points and seven rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench. The Celtics fell behind by eight points in the first quarter went ahead by six in the second and increased it to 11 in the third. Notes:@ Hornets center Tyson Chandler missed the game after reporting to the morning shootaround with a stiff neck.

IBM offers Ubuntu PCs
Manx Radio UK
The technology giant is to sell an Ubuntu Linux package to US companies through its IT services unit. IBM says systems built on the open source operating system should cost about half as much as Windows PCs because there are no costs from Microsoft which have to be passed on to customers. It?s hoping the computers will be more attractive to buyers given the current economic environment. (Image: Ubuntu logo). Manx News OFT warns against ‘hard sell’ warranties.
The Economist Suggests Linux For Netbooks
Slashdot
Even for non net books Linux is just better than windows for mobiles. It uses significantly less resources and my usable battery life has increased by at least 30% from switching from Vista to Ubuntu. Mind you this is on a high end laptop Vista feels like a dog while Linux(Ubuntu) runs smoothly.
